good morning! so someone emailed me a few weeks ago asking if i happened to be a patty griffin fan and my immediate response was yes…once i heard ms. griffin had a new album coming out (releasing tomorrow feb 6th) called children running through i knew i’d have to feature it here on popbytes! i adore patty and she actually was already a ‘monday .mp3′ a few weeks back with her incredibly powerful song tony off her ’98 album flaming red (still one of my favorite albums today) her new single is called heavenly day and you can have a listen below – she has this great weathered folk/rocky type of voice that you can almost wrap yourself in – plus i’m extra excited since she’s touring (here are the dates) and will be hitting los angeles on feb 13th which i’m planning to attend! popbytes over & out for now…xxoo!
