oh i always say the more oprah – the better! it was announced today that XM satellite radio signed ms. winfrey to a deal reported at $55 million dollars for three years…basically pennies compared to the five year $500 million dollar deal that shock jock howard stern got over on SIRIUS…but since oprah is new to whole radio thing (i think she did work in radio a long time ago?) she must pay her dues…the great thing is she will be joined by people like sassy best friend gail king and super hottie nate berkus – nate just may be a reason to go get my XM on – i think he is such the cat’s meow! oh my nate you come & redo my apartment anytime! anyways popbytes over & out for now…xxoo!

Oprah & Friends will debut in September 2006 and will feature a broad range of original programming from Harpo Radio, Inc. including regular segments hosted by popular personalities from The Oprah Winfrey Show and O, The Oprah Magazine and an exclusive original weekly half-hour reality radio show with Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King. The channel will be broadcast from a new state-of-the-art XM studio at Harpo Studios in Chicago.
