oh my word – is edie britt dead?!?

i literally leapt out of my seat at the very end of desperate housewives‘s season three finale – did edie britt (played by nicollette sherdian) really hang herself after carlos (sexy ricardo chavira) found out her scheme to make him love her?!? craziness!

oh my gosh – i still totally love this show and the return of bree (oh my marcia cross) on tonight’s episode totally set the stage for season four – poor gabby (ms. eva longoria) she found out that her new hubby was only interested in securing the latino vote in his race for governor – meanhwile susan (oh teri hatcher) finally found happiness with mike (hunky james denton) – last but not least lynnette‘s (the incredible felicity huffman) mom joined in on the action & her daughter’s current marital problems – portrayed by the always awesome polly bergin!

although i still think this show’s first season was its strongest – i still really enjoy all of the characters plus the soapy plotlines – and they’ve kept the show on a steady sunday diet – i’m so behind on grey’s anatomy – damn that switch to thursday nights! ok…i’m seriously over & out for tonight! rock & blog on – much love to all as always – xxoo!

    I was totally upset when I saw the episode! I really hope they dont kill her off the show because I really enjoyed her character! If anyone finds out what really happened please post it up I NEED to know!!!

    I think someone will find her in time, no one’s ready for her to go…but I’m glad that they were good with keeping the final episode hush-hush, it allowed the viewers to be really shocked at the end. And Carlos and Edie will NOT end up together!!! I’m sooo rooting for Gabby and him to get back together (I mean they hooked up, hellllooooo)… and for her to divorce that rich scum bag.

    I can’t believe what happened… I was in love with Edie Britt, it was (with Bree) my favorite character, and I was so upset when she commited suicide ! Please tell me that she’s alive or I could kill Marc Cherry !!!!!!! Please I want Edie to be in the forth season, and in the rest of the show !

    Good Riddance – Edie Britt / Nicollette Sherdian are totally annoying.
    The show is Desperate Housewives and it’s focus is on four title characters: Susan, Bree, Gabby, and Lynnette. I think it’ll be great when this whore klingon won’t be around anymore to horn-in on their action.

    I agree, someone will save her in the nick of time! And then Carlos will forever feel guilty for driving her to attempt suicide, and he will stay with her only for that reason. Resulting in not being free to be with Gabby. Love this show and all of these quirky characters.

    Edie is not coming back I read. The producers said that she was demanding too much money and was just a pain in the ass to work with.

    The producers have said nothing of the sort. If she really is dead, it is because her character has run her course. Edie was originally only going to be in 10-15 episodes in the first season.

    I love Edie so much, I would’ve wanted Carlos and Edie to end up together. I don’t like Gaby. edie and carlos and travers were so cute together

    Edie won’t die…they only showed her feet, not her face. She had probably changed her mind at the last minute and held on to something, but the viewer can’t see that because the attention was on the feet.

    writers please! don’t u see that if u kill edie the show won’t have any visual attractive and even so, we won´t be able to enjoy her, shes great and really funny!!! and i think that if she lives, she is gonna change and will become a good (but dangerous) person and find love, she deserves that, i only watch desperate housewives because of her, really.

    I read in a magazine that Nicolette Sheridan (Edie) will be returning as a regular in Season Four…AND she and carlos will sooo not end up together…carlos and gabby will be together and that loser old man victor (who looks the same age as his DAD by the way…) will be dumped
