ok yeah i’ve heard about all the accusations of copying & borrowing against my girl beyonce – whatever people borrow stuff left and right – and i’m sorry but shakira waving her arms is not a copyrighted move – give me a break people – it’s getting a bit ridiculous at this point!
so i did manage to make it to the store and i picked up my copy of her new album bday which was released today! i’ve already said it’s just okay – nothing spectacular but it’s not the worst either – what did annoy more than all this talk of copying moves was…the last page of the CD booklet is basically an ad for her clothing line house of dereon with a picture of her sister solange – maybe she should have slipped in a small insert ad but to make it part of her permanent booklet is for sure a bit tacky – i scanned and posted it below – she writes this ‘personal’ note urging her fans to check out the clothes (which my pal joey thinks is a bit outlandish for any girl to wear) anyways i do love my girl beyonce but i had to call her out for that dumb ass advert…popbytes over & out for now – xxoo!
