This week’s mashup is a smokin’ hot blend that dropped right around Christmas, and I think with my own holiday distraction going on, I missed posting it. D’oh! But we can all consider this the best gift we got, just a little late. It’s also been way too long since we featured something new from topcat mashmaker Party Ben. This little jam begs for you to feel the hot pants electro-funk by pairing up Simian Mobile Disco with classic Rufus. On the mic for SMD is the one and only Beth Ditto (from The Gossip) on their last single called Cruel Intentions, and of course, Miss Chaka Khan holding it down with Rufus on Ain’t Nobody. The results make for a fierce, rarin’ to go rump shaker!
