As the fourth season opens, McNamara/Troy marks its 5000th surgery. Adding to that total: a “voice lift” for an aging phone-sex artist (Kathleen Turner) and a testicle implant for a venture capitalist (Larry Hagman) who wants to buy the practice. The surgical milestone weighs on Christian’s mind (as does a creepy sexcapade), so he sees a psychologist (Brooke Shields). Meanwhile, Julia has something to tell Sean about her pregnancy.
