Celebrity comes at a price, a fact acknowledged for years and mirrored these days in increasing numbers of the famous exhibiting flawed personalities. The latest addition to this elite group of out of control celebs is the already down on his haunches, Nicolas Cage. The actor was arrested on two charges (domestic abuse / disturbing the peace) stemming from a scene played out early Saturday morning. Cage appeared heavily intoxicated in the street, ranting at his wife, Alice Kim, about the correct address he believed they resided at in a new rental. The Oscar-winning actor dragged said wife to the house he thought was their residence, his wife disagreed and the he grabbed her by the arm and began yelling and cursing. He then took to banging cars along the road until cops showed up. When they approached him he said, “Why don’t you just arrest me?”. He was later released on bail (paid by Dog The Bounty Hunter!). This is coming on the tail end of a new order from the taxman for an astronomical amount totaling close to $1 million bucks. He’s even been to court with his ex-manager recently and they reached a settlement. Plus to boot he hasn’t been in a hit movie in quite some time! Though not as alarming as Charlie Sheen’s recent insane antics, Mr. Cage is becoming quite notorious in his own right. Good luck Nick!
