good evening! ever since aussie natalie imbruglia dropped her incredible debut album left of the middle back in 1997 – i’ve been a huge and loyal fan … i swear torn is one of the best pop songs ever – thankfully she’s back! (after a four-year absence) her 4th studio album come to life will be released in europe on october 5th (it’s a shame girlfriend’s probably not having a release in the states) i was just doing a little research on the album – and i was thrilled to find out she worked with coldplay super cutie chris martin – who wrote a couple of songs for the album – i can’t wait to hear those tracks! (ms. imbruglia was featured here on popbytes back in 2005 for her track when you’re sleeping – it’s so good) for now we’ll have to settle for the brand new video wild about it – a ‘pre-single’ track (gosh now they’re doing pre-singles?!?) the first official single want is due to drop on september 28th (you can hear a snippet on myspace) i do really like this song but i’m not crazy about the chorus … watch and see what you think! popbytes over & out for tonight … xoxo
