hey hey! i’m sure some of you saw my glowing tweets the other night when i went to moby‘s concert here in los angeles – he put on a truly incredible and high energy show! i danced my ass off – at some points i felt like i was on ecstasy at a rave! people might think his show is just him playing DJ – but that couldn’t be further from the truth – he had a band – plus he sang and played guitar, keyboard, & bongos! he also had two lovely ladies singing on some of his tracks – inyang bassey and kelli scarr – both were amazing vocalists and added a lot to the show! he played a great mix of new and old material (the set list is below) i shot a bit of video which you can watch below – i also had a photo pass but the venue (the wiltern) failed to tell me i could only snap pics from the pit during the first three songs – ugh! after seeing him live – anytime he comes to town – i will be there!
