Over the past year, Justin Bieber has gone from “annoyingly omnipresent but otherwise harmless pop star” to “awful, self-involved jag-off with zero regards for anyone else.” At this point it’s pretty obvious that Bieber is going the way of Vanilla Ice, so Miley Cyrus decided to step in and tell him to take a break before he burns every bridge he has. The NY Daily News reports …

“I told Justin to take a bit of time out and people aren’t so obsessed with you and nitpick,” the 20-year-old singer told Britain’s The Sun. Cyrus’s choice words for JB came after he was recently caught on tape urinating into a bucket in the back of a restaurant. He appeared to be intoxicated and was swearing at a picture of former president Bill Clinton, which he later apologized for. “He’s still stupid though,” the former Disney star added. “But everyone does dumb stuff when they are messed up, and he’s done dumb stuff. If it was your friend pissing into a mop box then you would be laughing, but because it’s Justin Bieber, then it’s really bad.”

I suppose I would if those kinds of people were my friends, but thankfully I was never friends with someone who drank to the point of obnoxious inebriation and pissed all over other people’s property because he could. If I see a friend who’s drunk, we take them aside and tell them that they drank too much and that they’re annoying when they’re hammered, and to try next time not to get completely obliterated. You’re not doing your friends any favors by letting them act like selfish toss-pots, and you’re really not doing them any favors by letting them get sloppy drunk like that.
