hey boys & girls! oh man i’m thrilled the day is almost over – today was super long and of course there’s still more work to do but i really need to sleep very soon! tonight i had the chance to see MIKA play down at the roxy on sunset – it was an invite only show and way packed – all for the promotion of his debut album life in cartoon motion which is releasing soon over in the UK and then march in the states! i spotted singer natasha bedingfield (shorter in person) & magic man david blaine (who was so fucking gorgeous & mysterious in person – me and popbytes reader zach couldn’t stop staring!)
there were other famous faces in the crowd that i spotted but sometimes i cannot place a face with a name! mika did a phenomenal job of playing live – very energetic & oh so sexy! this was his second show in the US (he played last night in NYC) and mika’s very first los angeles show! he has been blogged & buzzed about for months (he was this week’s ‘monday .mp3′) he’s got a really accessible but way cool style and i think he’ll do quite well! there’s no doubt you’ll be hearing more about mika here on popbytes! oh my gosh – i’m so over & out for tonight! rock & blog on…xxoo!
