Happy New Music Tuesday y’all! Today the lovely Seattle-based singer / songwriter Mary Lambert has a brand-new EP out called Welcome To The Age Of My Body, which is now available over on iTunes. You might not know her name (yet) but without a doubt you know Mary from being featured on Macklemore & Ryan Lewis‘ Grammy-nominated hit song, “Same Love.” I had the chance to catch Mary play live a few weeks ago when she performed at Los Angeles’ The Mint, and she was truly fantastic. She has an amazing voice and was so damn funny and endearing in between her songs, it’s so nice to see someone so humble and appreciative get the spotlight, Mary definitely deserves it. Check out her music video below for “She Keeps Me Warm” (an extension of “Same Love” that Lambert calls “the other side of the story”), and for sure go grab a copy of her EP. Next year she’ll be releasing her debut full-length album via Capitol Records, I can’t wait to hear more from her!
