Miley Cyrus for Marc Jacobs

So apparently, Miley Cyrus is the model for Marc Jacobs‘ new spring campaign, because she’s really the only Disney starlet to have ever successfully washed the Disney channel stink off of her. And all she had to do was shake her ass at the internet until it exploded. See? Easy-peasy. Except not so easy-peasy, because apparently Jacobs’ usual photog, Juergen Teller, refused to shoot her. Not everyone in Jacobs’ camp seems to share his opinion, though. Jacobs usually works on collection campaigns with Juergen Teller, but this season’s choice of David Sims, who shot the recent beauty campaign, had a simple explanation. “I have worked with Juergen for years and love him as an artist,” Jacobs said. “He just didn’t want to shoot her.”

Look, not that I don’t think artists should be able to pick and choose what projects they work on, but come on. It’s Miley. I get that she’s not everyone’s favorite person in the world, but it’s not like she’s the worst either, right? I believe everyone would rather deal with her than say Kim Kardashian. Honestly, I don’t have super strong feelings on her either way, but really, she can’t be that bad, can she?
