hey hey! thankfully at the very last second i managed to score myself a ticket to see bat for lashes down at the el rey tonight – i almost thought i was going to miss seeing natasha khan but everything worked out in the end … phew … i can’t wait to see her play live again (i saw her back in august ’07) before i leave – i’ve got the brand new mariah carey track obsessed from her upcoming album memoirs of an imperfect angel (due out on august 25th) i can’t get enough of it – i’ve listened to it a bunch of times already – please have a listen for yourself below! many thanks go out to my blogger buddy love b. scott for the heads up – check out his blog for the lyrics to mimi’s kick-ass new track – i do think girlfriend has a sure-fire hit on her hands! popbytes over & out for tonight … xoxo

    I do like Mariah but Obsessed is a big disappointment for me as a leading single. She is better off with those power ballads just like in the 90s.

    I am not too crazy about this song…weird. I mean not particularly a big fan of auto tune and Eminem saga thingy.
    This song just average and I wont rush to the store for this single.

    the song is great! what are you guys talking about? obviously no taste in music lol i love and how she’s gettin back at him. the song is hot. i don’t what people keep expecting her to come out with…seriously. what? another butterfly, dreamlover? of course not. it definitely wouldn’t make number 1 today. not taking away their greatness but still. the song is hot so get over it:) Go MC!

    OK, the song’s definately catchy, but it doesn’t sound like her at all! Her music is always evolving, so I’ll go along with it, but this isn’t good enough for #1 status. I mean, it’s clearly a diss to Eminem, we get it. She should have released “H.A.T.E. U” first because it’s so much better. If nothing else, this will be her buzz song for her upcoming album (which I hope will not be all “autone” the whole time b/c it’s been done before… 808 & Heartbreaks hello!
