Listen: Aaliyah’s new track “Enough Said” (feat. Drake)

I’m usually completely against releasing new music posthumously (mainly because the songs for the most part suck, I do love my Amy Winehouse but that Lioness: Hidden Treasures should have stayed hidden), yet I am going to make an exception for this just released Aaliyah track (with never before heard vocals) called “Enough Said” (featuring Drake), I think it’s incredible, upon first listen I was totally reminded how talented Aaliyah truly was! She passed away in a plane crash in the Bahamas at age twenty-two back in August of 2001, it was such a huge loss, I pray baby girl is at peace, thankfully her infectious spirit and music will continue to bless us! Based on recent rumors, there might be a whole posthumous album in the works, let’s just hope the other material is as strong as this track.
