So not too long after she got released on bail, Lindsay Lohan decided to go into damage control for her image by going on everyone’s least favorite late night talk show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (the interview is posted below in three parts). And by “go into damage control”, I mean she spouted a bunch of crazy delusional bullshit, then said that she wants to win an Oscar by the time she is 30, despite the fact that her career has pretty much been torpedoed to the part where she’s stealing the role of a topless extra from Kim Kardashian.
In an interview on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno that aired Tuesday, Lohan owned up to her “poor decisions in the past,” but was optimistic about her future in Hollywood. Just where does the 24-year-old actress hope to see herself at age 30? “Hopefully, sitting here after winning an Oscar,” she said. “I want the public knowledge to be about my work, not about the things that I didn’t get into this business for, that I’ve put myself into positions where that was the biggest story than what I was working on,” she said. Yeah, that’ll happen. Think about it: In her entire career, Lindsay’s only ever had one great movie under he belt, and that was Mean Girls. That’s right: It took Tina Fey‘s masterpiece just to score Lindsay one decent movie on her resume. And that was back before she pretty much destroyed herself with drugs and booze. Oh, wait, I forgot! Hollywood LOVES movies about that! Stick her in her own biopic and it will literally rain Oscar gold.
