You know that person in your life who, no matter how much trouble they get into, is convinced nothing is ever their fault? Like, if they don’t study and fail a test, it’s because their teacher hates them? Or if they refuse to do their job and their boss chews them out, it’s only because everyone at their work has it out for them? Well, give that person millions of dollars and ample amounts of fame and that person would turn into Lindsay Lohan, because the poor dumb-dumb is convinced all those unpaid taxes she owes the government is someone else’s fault. A source close to Lohan tells us, “Lindsay is freaking out. And she’s doing what she always does, which is to say it’s not her fault and point the finger at someone else in her team. She says she didn’t know anything about it . . . she’s broke and it’s not her fault.” Now her managers are desperately trying to strike a deal to repay the money. “The people hired to take care of it are taking care of it and it will be resolved by the end of the year,” another source close to Lohan tells us, adding the bank seizure was just part of the “process.”
All right, so there are two ways to interpret this: The first, is that Lindsay is a character living in a Larry David sitcom, and everything that happens to her is just one wacky, slapstick misunderstanding after another, and the poor girl just can’t catch a break. The second is that Lindsay is an irresponsible dumb ass and needs to get herself some help before she scapegoats herself right out of a career.
