Lindsay Lohan

When we last left Lindsay Lohan, she was trying to convince the Betty Ford Center to let her invite a drug dealer to visit her in rehab, and we all collectively rolled our eyes and put our hands on our hips and went “that’s our Lindsay!” Well, something must have clicked with her over the weekend, because according to TMZ, Lindsay is now actually taking her stay in rehab seriously and is actually making strides to fix her behavioral problems.

Sources close to Lindsay tell us, the actress has been attending ALL of her group and one-on-one counseling sessions at Betty Ford — and she’s not only taking them seriously, she’s talking to friends about what she’s learned … especially issues involving self-control and reckless impulses. Lindsay is saying the program is getting more complicated and emotional, but she’s not shying away. We’re told Lindsay is sleeping in a room with two roommates because she doesn’t want to be alone. Get this — there’s no drama — she’s getting along with both.

You know what? I’m going to remain cautiously optimistic on this one. Yes, we’ve seen the whole “I’m serious this time, I’m turning it all around!” song and dance from Lindsay before, but hopefully, someone close to her is actually going to hold her feet to the fire this time. And if not, back to making jokes about her.
