Oh boy … well, I guess when Lindsay Lohan said she was doing everything she could to make sure she stayed on the straight and narrow, I guess she didn’t mean, like, behaving herself or staying in for the night and bouncing around Wikipedia articles, because this morning at 4:00 AM, Lindsay was arrested for allegedly punching a woman in the face and then fleeing the scene. TMZ reports:
Our sources say Lohan was at Club Avenue when she got into some sort of argument with a female patron and it became physical. We’re told cops came and arrested Lindsay for allegedly assaulting her.
Law enforcement tells us prior to the fight words were exchanged between Lindsay and the woman as they sat in separate booths near each other. Lindsay said something to the effect of, “Give me my space.” Some time passed and then, for some reason, Lindsay allegedly punched the girl in the left side of her face.
We’re told by the time cops arrived Lindsay had left the club and was a passenger in a car that was leaving the area. Cops intercepted the car and made the arrest.
While Lohan was in cuffs, she kept repeating, “Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me?”
The sad thing is that, if you watch the video, you get the idea that LiLo legitimately has no idea that she did anything wrong. Seriously, I’m starting to think that Lindsay is just too stupid to know the difference between right and wrong at this point. I mean granted, ignorance isn’t an excuse to act like a petulant, selfish child, but still, Lindsay is in desperate need of discipline and boundaries here.
