Now that Lindsay Lohan has proven that she can anchor a show without flying off the handle or running her car into a stroller, apparently Lindsay has been given the green-light to work again. So now, Lindsay has a new job as a blogger (with the help of SpinMedia), which I’m cool with as long as she doesn’t move into celebrity mockery. That’s my racket, bitch. Page Six reports …
The recovering party girl launched lindsaylohan.com Friday, which features photos from her Instagram page, video clips from her recent interview with Oprah and posts on what she’s been up to since her stay at Cliffside Malibu. “To my fans, welcome to my new site. Your support has been everything. I’m so excited for what’s next. xo. All my love, Lindsay,” the actress wrote. Fans of the fiery redhead can scroll through the history for style files with information on Lindsay’s clothes and photo spreads of her latest ensembles.
You know what? I approve! LiLo has always been kind of a personality-driven performer, so giving her a platform on which to put that forward makes a lot more sense. Plus, this gives her a focal point to focus on and a framework to work within, which means she has a system of checks and balances, which is what she needed more than anything really. Besides, if Nicole Richie can turn it around and become a fashionista, I don’t see why Lindsay can’t. Actually, that seems to be the natural progression of things: Be friends with Paris Hilton, rehab (and/or jail), fashionista. Weird how that works.
