lily allen does jimmy kimmel!

good evening! oh my gosh what a day it’s been here on popbytes – my traffic has been doing quite well (partly due to britney spears and her no panties escapades) anyways i was beyond bummed when i realized that my darling lily allen was on jimmy kimmel the other night (dec 5th) where she performed her hit single (in the UK) smile (since i do live right around the corner) next month ms. allen will finally get a proper release here in the states that she so deserves! her debut album alright, still will hit stores on jan 30th – i already have my import copy (who has time to wait?)



hopefully her label will be smart about things and include some extra tracks or remixes so i pay down a few bucks for the US release…we shall see! (come on capitol records – bring it on) it’s just so odd the delay sometimes of an album in our market – i know they’re often testing the waters but it’s like come on already! anyways check out ms. allen below looking cute as a button performing on mr. kimmel’s show! i must also thank my pal victoria who i simply adore (please go visit her blog and send her some love) she was the first person who turned me onto lily and now i’ve got her hooked (like cracked) on amy winehouse…oh yes there’s a hint of synergy in the air all around the popbytes table at the moment! rock & blog on people – i’m over & out for now…xxoo!
