hey y’all! i do adore lady gaga but her new clara bow lips are totally freaking me out – i don’t like the harlequin pursed-lip look at all! (ms. bow was a key part of the inspiration behind cartoon sex symbol betty boop‘s look) girlfriend was arriving back to her london hotel tonight (looking like an addams family long lost cousin) after performing on the paul o’grady show – she actually looks like she was doing her disco-schtick at a funeral! i do appreciate and respect lady gaga’s overly eccentric artistic style but it is starting to wear a little thin – everyday it seems she’s out & about in some new wacky outfit! finally i was able to stop listening to her debut album the fame which i love but i’ve pretty much worn it out for myself – i’ve been listening to it for almost a year now! earlier today she stopped by BBC’s radio 1 (with a teacup in hand – pictures are below) where she did a cover of coldplay‘s smash hit song viva la vida – i don’t think anybody can top the original – she doesn’t even come close with this one (listen & decide for yourself) i’m very curious to see what she might have up her sleeve for her next album – will she be able to match the huge success of her first one? as my dad would say – the proof will be in the pudding! popbytes over & out for tonight … xoxo
