Exactly one week ago I had the pleasure of attending Lady Gaga‘s Born This Way Ball when it came through Los Angeles. It was my fourth time seeing her live, and of course a good time was had by all. The folks from Skype (one of the tour’s sponsors) were kind enough to invite to me to attend Gaga’s concert for free, complete with a swanky VIP reception before the show with tasty treats and delicious cocktails (they were so good, I had one too many), and even a goodie bag complete with some Gaga and Skype swag! I was with my blogger pal Anthony from NYC (he runs Tastes Like Caramel), and we had an excellent time gossiping and and taking in all the fun! Now as much as I adore Gaga, I have to be a drop critical, she sounded fantastic and of course put on a high energy show that had me on my feet most of the time but I feel like she’s running out of steam when it comes to her last album, Born This Way. I would have loved for her to play a track from her upcoming album, ARTPOP. I really hope once she completes this tour (a total of forty dates) in March, she’s going to finish the album and drop some new material, hopefully by the end of the year! But of course if you have the chance to attend one of her shows, don’t miss out.
