This morning Lady Gaga returned to Good Morning America to perform her latest single, “Applause,” and decided to do a performance heavily-inspired by the classic 1939 film, The Wizard of Oz. She started off with a bit of “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” and then took a trip down the yellow brick road with the tinman, the lion plus the scarecrow in tow. Of course Oz is one of my favorite movies of all-time but I’m not quite sure this really worked, I think Gaga’s recent performance on MTV’s VMAs was way better. What do you think?
