good evening! even though it’s easter sunday – my favorite local venue the roxy is open tonight – i’m heading down there later this evening to catch UK’s new electropop duo la roux (join them on myspace) made up of singer elly jackson and producer ben langmaid – there’s been a ton of buzz over their self-titled debut album due out in june – plus the two just opened up for lily allen on the UK leg of her tour! below you’ll find the stylish video for their awesome second single in for the kill (also check out quicksand – the first single) i’m looking forward to a very good time (perhaps you’ll catch me twittering from the show) i just wish it wasn’t sunday night – unfortunately i do have to go back to work tomorrow morning – ugh! popbytes over & out for tonight … xoxo
