This week we ask you: Mashen sie Deutsch? You guys all know about Bootie LA, but did you know there’s a Bootie in Munich, Germany? In fact, there’s now 7 monthly Bootie parties happening on 3 continents! It’s crazy, but kids all over the world love the mashups
as much as we do! Thus, our selection comes from a multi-talented Austrian DJ-remixer-producer named DJ Schmolli, who’s been featured here quite a bit before (and who holds down the fort – along with DJ BootOx – at Bootie Munich). Schmolli cranks out so many great bootlegs, we wonder if he ever sleeps. Picking just one was tough, but I decided to go with a real party-starter. Because no one is sittin’ down when House Of Pain says jump around, and the legs start kickin’ to some old-school ‘Kung Fu Fighting’ by Carl Douglas. Throw in some mack daddy Kriss Kross and this baby really moves!
