Sometimes I wonder to myself: Is there any song from the 80′s that wouldn’t make for a great mashup? The decade that oft-times gets poked fun at for its music was actually one of the most fertile and original, in my opinion. Sure, some of those one-hit wonders have lost their sheen over the years – while some still just make us grin inside – and that’s why I love the reinvention element a great mashup brings. This week, we prove it! Here, the vagabond misfits from England’s Dexy’s Midnight Runners (who got their name from the then-popular drug, dextroamphetamine) put their #1 hit Come On Eileen in the ring with LL Cool J. And DJ Lobsterdust, yet again, drops one hell of a dancefloor knock-out!
