I am currently a third year business student; however, with a minor in history, I have to voice my opinion on his series. Last semester I completed a course on the history of Great Britain from the time of Ceaser until 1603, which most notably ended with Queen Elizabeth, the daughter of Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn. I have watched the first two shows of the series (which impressed me so that I ordered Showtime) and have been squirming waiting for it to premier so I can continue watching. From what I know about Henry VIII, this series, so far, pays tremendous tribute to his legacy and the great influence he had on Great Britain and the world. Historically precise, whitty, lustful, strong and true are just some of the words I use to describe to this series, and so far, two thumbs up! Showtime definetly has a winner on their hands!
