Oh, Instagram … to be honest, I never used the app because I mean really, why would anyone pay hundreds of dollars for a phone just so they could take pictures that look like withered crap? Well, a couple days ago, things went to total hell after Instagram tweaked their Terms of Services policy (which has since been revised based on all the hoopla) and everyone assumed it meant they could sell users’ photos without having to pay the original photographer. Granted, the odds anyone would actually pay money for a random teenagers’ duck-faced selfie was slim to none, but that didn’t stop Kim Kardashian from threatening to pull out on them. TMZ reports …
But Kim K isn’t convinced … at least not yet … and is telling friends she’s thinking about shutting down her Instagram account, going to a rival photo-posting company … and taking ALL OF HER FOLLOWERS WITH HER. It’s a big deal … considering KK has the most followers of any Instagram user at 5,726,343 … way past Justin Bieber (4,366,729) and President Barack Obama (1,834,079). Plus, if Kim goes … her family members could follow … and Khloe, Kylie, Kendall and Rob are also in the Top 10 most followed on the site.
On one hand, it’s more than likely Kim is just using this to jump up on her high-horse for the sake of a little attention. On the other hand, if Kim and her entire family quits Instagram, that will mean one less medium on which they can annoy me with their stupid spoiled famewhoring antics! Yay! Stick to those guns, Instagram, we’ll be rid of Kim soon enough!
