Well, two reasons: First, she’s an easy target and mocking her stupid self-serving ass is fun. Reality star Kim Kardashian has topped a new list of the most-searched celebrities online. The fashion mogul, who is dating Kanye West, has wrestled the title from last year’s (11) winner Justin Bieber to become Bing.com’s most searched person of 2012. The Baby hitmaker falls to second, while other superstars making the top 10 include Rihanna, Bieber’s rumored ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, Nicki Minaj, and Taylor Swift.
So really, we can blame this one on the free market. Supply and demand, people: you demand our mockery of dumb famewhores, and by jove we will give it to you. Granted, you guys are starting to turn it around — If you keep clicking on the RuPaul’s Drag Race stories we write, then we’ll keep churning them out — but until the day you stop clicking on everything Kardashian related, we’ll keep writing jokes about how Kim is only famous because she got urinated on in a sex tape.
