Kim Kardashian is going to be dead for awhile!

Yeah, remember how Alicia Keys had that great idea to kick celebrities off of Twitter until fans ponied up a million bucks for the Keep A Child Alive foundation? Well as it turns out, I’m not the only person who really doesn’t want to pay to see Kim Kardashian tweeting product placements again, because so far they’ve only managed to raise $162,000!

Considering the web’s attention span and the fact that World AIDS Day is over, the celebs participating in Alicia Keys’ ‘Die-In’ campaign, in which they’ve vowed to disappear from social media until $1 million is raised for the “Keep a Child Alive’ campaign, have a long way to go. Collectively they’ve raised just over $160K. SOURCE

Whoops. Okay, so maybe this wasn’t the best idea in the world, but it’s for a good cause, right? Right. Perhaps a better idea would have been to stick Kim into a cannon and promise that she would be fired into the sun if they raised a million bucks. Alicia? Gimme a call sweetie, m’kay?
