Remember a while back when Kim Kardashian said she would be donating the cash value of her wedding gifts to charity, like that’s some sort of colossal accomplishment when you donate like 1.5% of the money you earned from staging a fake wedding to charity? And then she went ahead and kept the money anyway because her family needed new watches? Well, Kim is now vowing to donate twice the money to charity, so yay. Good for her for donating 3% of what she earned from conning together a fake wedding to charity for the sake of good public relations. TMZ reports:
We obtained a letter — sent to every guest at the Kim K/Kris Humphries wedding. Kim says, “I would like to thank you for your generous and thoughtful wedding gift. It has taken me some time to pull everything together but I wanted to let you know that the money for every gift received by me at my wedding has been donated to the Dream Foundation …”
Sources tell us … Kim estimates the total cash value of the all the gifts to be around $100k, but she’s cut a check for twice that amount to the Dream Foundation.
Which is funny, when you consider that the reported value of her gifts was actually $200k, so … yeah, “twice the amount”. Sure thing, sweetheart. You know, I bitch and moan about these terrible famewhores a lot, but my gosh they sure are fun to write about.
