We try to stay clear of politics, mostly because we don’t want the vitriolic left v. right debate to get in the way of my precious dick jokes. But if there’s one thing that people from both sides of the debate can agree upon, it’s that Kim Kardashian is terrible. And according to RadarOnline, it’s gotten to the point where Kim has been labeled ‘political poison’ and gets barely a fraction of a percentage of the respect people have for pop star Katy Perry …
“Kim is political poison,” the source continues. “Having her involved in a political event or with a candidate is the last thing people who are serious about getting elected want.” Two years later, that’s still true. More popular was Katy Perry, who also attended the event and was front and center throughout Obama’s presidential run. “Katy is on a different level than Kim,” the insider explains. “Everybody loves Katy. Kim is so controversial and it’s just too risky for any candidate to have her involved.”
All right, I have an idea here: What if we used our colliective disdain for Kim to bridge the gap between the right and the left? We’ve already tried everything else. Who’s to say that a Kardashian couldn’t get them to at least open a dialogue? “What’s that? You also wish the Kardashians would be attacked by a swarm of half-tarantula/half-bee hybrid monsters? Well, maybe you aren’t so bad after all!”
