So last night I was at Club Nokia downtown for the Tegan and Sara show (which was fabulous, and I’ll write up a post about it soon) and as I was walking around, I noticed Katy Perry and her boyfriend John Mayer (and her stylist Johnny Wujek, who is such a hunky hottie) being quietly escorted into the small gated area where the audio mixers were located in the middle of the main floor. Finally I was able to snap a few (unimpressive) photos, which seemed to appease the fans at hand, even PopJustice commented. I also came to the conclusion that all is totally fine between Katy and John (despite recent rumors), they both were extremely affectionate, it almost looked like a first date to me. I also thought he was a lot cuter in person than I had imagined, I still don’t care for him but I kind of get the appeal now, plus he’s tall!

All in all, it was a fun night, little did I know my tweet would turn into me sweating while desperately trying to snap a few shots without being intrusive or putting myself in trouble. In the end I picked up like fifty new followers on Twitter, which is always nice but the next time you happen to run into Katy Perry out and about, think before you tweet!
