In honor of Katy Perry‘s new single, Last Friday Night (TGIF), Katy decided to film a quintessentialy 80′s video (catch a sneak peek) where she goes full high school geek, complete with brick-thick glasses and head gear. Hey, don’t laugh about head gear. I had to wear that shit every night for a year. It’s not pleasant, but at least I have teeth that don’t look like a row of decaying tombstones. Anyway, bitch is going into viral marketing mode as her character in the video, Kathy Beth Terry, which would be great if MTV still played music videos. Hell, even Much Music is kind of dropping all pretense of being about music. More shows about emo werewolves! WEE!
