good evening! i have to hand it to katie holmes – she’s looking pretty fabulous in peach/orange on the brand new cover of ELLE magazine’s ‘women in hollywood’ issue (november 2009) i thought by now she would have split up with her creepy hubby & scientology master tom cruise but i guess everything’s going ok for the couple … in the last quote she talks about once something starts to not feel real – she’s not into it – i suppose mr. cruise is good at keeping things ‘real’ for his stepford wife – ha! although i’m not super keen on them being together at all – i must say they do have the most adorable celebrity offspring – that suri cruise is beyond precious! please make sure to head over to elle.com to see the other ‘women of hollywood’ covers this month which include emily blunt, renee zellweger, julianne moore, and zoe saldana! popbytes over & out for now … xoxo
on family life: “in my own life, my whole world really revolves around family. i do what i need to do, but it’s like, ‘how is everybody else doing?’ and it’s wonderful for me as an actress to put some of that into a character.”

on fashion: “i love alaia, for sure. stella mccartney. i like ralph lauren because i feel like it’s very american, and i’m pretty all-american, from ohio. isabel marant and a new designer, sari gueron.”
on the genre of film she loves most: “it can be any genre. i even like vampire movies – they just have to be well done. i want to believe in the characters. the minute it starts to feel not real, i’m not interested.”
