justin timberlake’s new video…not so good

good morning everybody…it’s grammy day! i’ll be watching tonight and i may just dabble in a little live blogging…it always sounds like a good idea but most award shows are beyond boring but at least there are performances during tonight’s show which usually helps to break things up! (i’m still irked by the west coast delay…the best thing about the oscars is it airing on both coasts at the same time!)



anyways did you all see the new justin timberlake video for his kick-ass latest single what goes around… – now i love the song and it was an immediate favorite track off justin’s futuresex/lovesounds album but i must say i think the video totally sucks ass – i don’t like it at all! whoever decided to make it a mini-movie with a plotline involving a ‘cheating’ scarlett johansson obviously had poor judgment! i hate how the song cuts in and out – the acting scenes are completely ridiculous – it’s really terrible! y’all know me by now i don’t usually slam stuff but this deserves it – hopefully mr. timberlake will redeem himself with his performance at the grammys tonight! popbytes over & out for now…xxoo!

    The acting wasn’t so great, but this video was fun and sexy. The death scene was beyond over the top tho!!

    Whitney Shows, Justin Doesn’t at Pre-Grammy Bash
    If the old adage is true — that 99 percent of life is just about showing up — then last night Whitney Houston at least scored some points, while Justin Timberlake failed miserably.
    You see, Whitney managed to put on a gown and a fur-trimmed cashmere cape and show up at Clive Davis’ annual pre-Grammy gala as promised. Timberlake, however, backed out of performing at the show or showing up at all, and did so at the last minute. The given reason: He had the flu.
    But the real reason was that the ex-boy bander had performed at a party he threw the night before at a club, finishing up between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. He managed to make Davis’ show sound check, but wasn’t able to replicate what he’d done — and what I’d reported on in this space — on Thursday afternoon.

    i didnt think that the justin timberlake video was that bad.
    i mean it was kind of weird but it wasnts like super awuful. but i would have expected a wee bit better from him it was horrible.

    I’m with Popbytes, that was total crap. all parties should be very embarrassed. the imagery was there, had they taken that footage and re-cut it without any of the dialogue scenes, maybe you’d have something worthy of third single video, but what we see is just wasted money footage.
    justin’s too big for missteps like that, and scarlett, ugh, you can sleep with him without acting in his corny video. sam bayer is a crap director, silly choice for that amazing song.
