Last night cutie Justin Timberlake handled both hosting and musical guest duties for Saturday Night Live, marking his fifth time as host! For his musical performances he started off with “Suit & Tie” (which I’m just not overly crazy about) and then “Mirrors,” which I think is a fantastic track. Although “Suit & Tie” has garnered some radio play (probably thanks to Jay-Z‘s much needed appearance on the track), I think “Mirrors” is going to be the massive hit that will help officially launch his comeback on the music scene. His upcoming third studio album, The 20/20 Experience drops one week from this coming Tuesday, March 19th, it’s already available for pre-order on iTunes. Hopefully the album will prove to have been well worth the wait since his last release, FutureSex/LoveSounds, back in September of 2006, almost seven years ago which almost seems just like yesterday. I’m thrilled JT is back making music once again, I was seriously growing tired of him and his need to become an actor.
