Justin Bieber’s mom is defending him …

Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber has spent the better part of a year slowly pissing all over mop buckets his reputation, so you’d figure one of his actual parents would step in and try to steer him on the straight and narrow. But you’d be forgetting that Justin’s parents are the ones who forced him into music because making your own money is hard, so of course Justin’s mom Pattie Mallette is just going to defend her son’s actions while giving only the faintest of criticism. Page Six reports …

“I definitely think he’s getting a bad rap, but I’m also not naive to think that my child is perfect and making all the best decisions of his life,” she explained. “He knows what I disagree with, and he knows all the things that I’m really proud of him for, too. I mean, people don’t talk about all the great things he does every day,” the 38-year-old author continued. “Every night before a show, he meets with Make-a-Wish kids. He goes to sick kids’ hospitals. He visits with them [and] takes his time. He gives back to charities.”

Basically, he might be a spoiled entitled douche with no professionalism or respect for other people, but look at all the charity work his handlers make him do! Look, I get that your first instinct is to defend your son, but have you seen what your kid is getting up to? Everything that has happened to him and every poor decision he’s ever made happened because you refused to set boundaries for him. You were so afraid to actually be a parent that you robbed your kid of an actual childhood, and now look at him: He’s a mess. It’s not your job to be your kid’s friend. He has tons of those. It’s your job to be his mother, because he only has one of those, and that’s you.
