Hey, remember that one time when Justin Bieber bought a snake so that he could use it as a fashion accessory all of one time before auctioning it off on the web because pets don’t just magically take care of themselves? Well, here he is randomly handing off a hamster to a fan of his, despite having zero clue whether or not she can even take care of a hamster, because he’s rich and that’s what rich people can do. TMZ reports …
TMZ broke the story … Bieber unloaded the furball — named PAC — on an unsuspecting fan after his Jingle Ball performance in Atlanta last week — and now we’ve learned that fan COULDN’T BE HAPPIER. We spoke to 18-year-old Tori — huge Bieber fan — who tells us she was shocked when the Biebs randomly offered her the cage … but is excited about looking after the lil’ guy and assures us he’s in great hands. Tori tells us … both she and PAC are living happily together at her home in Alabama … and she plans on keeping her new furry friend as long as Bieber says it’s cool.
Look, I’ll admit that in all likelihood, Tori’s probably a good kid, I’m sure she’s super happy her hero gave her something that belonged to him, but animals are not things that you can dump on random strangers because they stop being convenient to you. At the risk of sounding like my parents, a pet is a responsibility, not a toy that you play with once or twice before you get tired of it and get rid of it.
