oh i seriously miss seeing juliette lewis up on the silver screen – i’m sure some of you must agree with me? (a total favorite actress of mine) she’s done a number of great movies over the years (cape fear, natural born killers, strange days, husbands & wives, kalifornia – to name just a few) but she’s really taking this whole musician thing quite far (it’s been about five years since she first started rocking out) what may have seemed like a whim has turned into a whole new rock & roll career for ms. lewis! she’s always given off the impression of being a kook from another planet but with an endearing & cool hippie vibe (although she is all dialed into scientology these days…) below are some pictures of her performing with her band the licks (which formed in ’03) over at the bevrijdings festival in the netherlands – a few months back i saw her perform at the roxy and she along with the band put on a super high energy crazy show – i fucking loved it! popbytes over & out for now…xxoo
