Now that Katy Perry and John Mayer are back on again, I guess they decided to make it official by collaborating on a song together. So today, they released a brand-new track called “Who You Love,” (off his upcoming album Paradise Valley out on August 20th) and it’s actually really good. I may not understand them as a couple at all, and I may find John to be supremely annoying (remember when he called his ex-girlfriend Jessica Simpson “sexual napalm” and then had a crying fit because everyone was being mean to him about it?) yet their voices do compliment each other nicely. It’s not much of a stretch from the type of music John does normally, but it still works well enough.
