 | ‘JOE SCHMO’ ON SPIKE TV ok i had NO CLUE what this show was about – a fake reality show? it sounded insanely stupid – but GOSH – i tuned in the other night – and then i watched like 4 hrs of it |
| – it is such brilliant junk – it is so interesting to see this whole set-up they have going – ok i know im a reality tv junkie – but this is superb – on one hand you have the average ‘joe schmo’ – his real name is matt something – he thinks he is vying on a reality tv show to win a 100 grand – its called the ‘lap of luxury’ – and on the otehr side is a team of actors and producers – setting up this whole game – its a really great satire of reality TV – all the actors play ‘typical’ reality tv personalitys (bitch,obnoxious etc) and they are all trying to keep it together – some have been kinda of caught between conflicting details – so you have ‘joe’ – so sweet and innocent – and watching him unfold as does the ‘game’ and then the actors trying to hold together their characters. this is fascinating – i can go on and one – but PLEASE check this one out – on tues at 9pm on SPIKE TV! | |
