Well, according to The Daily Mail, she and hubby Jay Z decided to bail out on the whole big event because they don’t want to be on one of the Kardashians’ reality TV specials. Jay Z and Beyonce have reportedly turned down an invite to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding. The “99 Problems” hitmaker and the “Pretty Hurts” star are said to have rejected the chance to attend the nuptials, which are expected to take place in France, because they don’t want to appear on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. An insider told The Sun newspaper: ‘Jay Z would be there if it wasn’t going to be such a public event.’
The upside for them is that Jay Z is going to make it up to them by dropping $100,000 on a yacht for the honeymoon. Still, you know you should probably dial it down on the famewhorin’ when a friend is willing to blow a house’s worth of money just to get out of going to your TV special / wedding.
