Janelle Monáe 'The Electric Lady'

Janelle Monáe has a brand-new album coming out on September 10th (yes!) which means it’s high time we wet ourselves over the just released cover art. Here’s a video which shows off the artwork for The Electric Lady (pre-order on iTunes), and by the looks of it, it’s going to be a continuation of the R&B opera of Cindi Mayweather, the android who travels back in time to free people from an evil group who wants to do … something. I can never follow the plot of science fiction works to be honest. Either way, I love Janelle, her music, and her ability to theme an album, so this makes me happy.
