Don’t quit your day job, James Franco!

Don’t quit your day job, James Franco!

Alright, this is the one thing that’s always confused me about LGBT magazines: they all have this weird habit of putting straight people on their covers. I mean yes, you can say that human sexuality is less rigid than merely gay and straight and that even those who identify as either of these are merely leaning towards one end of the sexual spectrum, but if I’m gonna pay for a copy of OUT, I wanna see some homos goddammit!

Case in point, here’s James Franco dragged up for the cover Candy, the first magazine for transfolk. Look, I like Franco, I really do, but as someone who spends their days around T-Girls and Drag Queens … Well, this is kind of a lunchbox letdown. The man doesn’t even have a drag name! And don’t even think about taking Sandy Vagina. I already got it registered. Nice try, Franco. Nice try.
