With Britney Spears slowly but surely returning to her white trash ways, her record label has decided it’s time once again to milk everyone’s favourite sexy hillbilly cashcow a little more, which means we might be looking at a new Britney album in the coming weeks. Producer Rodney Jerkins has claimed that Britney Spears will release new music in a “few weeks”. Representatives for Spears’s record label confirmed in March that the singer had begun work on her seventh studio album, which is the follow-up to 2008′s Circus. Jerkins told UStream: “Britney fans are gonna be so happy in a few weeks.” SOURCE
Am I the only who sees this as a terrible idea? Seriously, the woman is pretty much on a diet of lithium and double mocha chip frappuccinos, and you’re going to throw her back out on tour? It’s almost like those adorable little wild animals people raise as pets before throwing them back out into the wilderness, where they’re inevitably eaten and/or shot. Either way, this won’t end well!
