Last year, People magazine made the horrible mistake of saying that Bradley Cooper was somehow sexier than Ryan Gosling. This is, of course, a bald-faced lie. Sorry Bradley, but Ryan can even be sexy when he’s horrifically stomping in someone’s skull in an elevator. (Oh, yeah, spoiler alert I guess.) Anyway, according to a leaked report via Gossip Cop, it sounds like Channing Tatum is being named this year’s Sexiest Man Alive, which will be announced next week on November 14th!
The Magic Mike star is expected to be unveiled as the magazine’s choice on November 14. People picked Bradley Cooper last year, with Ryan Reynolds receiving the honor in 2010. Tatum has been in the “Sexiest Man Alive” issue before, but never as the top choice. When reached, a rep for People magazine told Gossip Cop, “We never comment on who the Sexiest Man Alive is until the issue is revealed.”
Actually, you know what? I can kinda see this. He’s hot, he’s a versatile performer, and he starred in Magic Mike, which was both a box office success as well as a flimsy excuse to see nearly-nude celebrities, including Matt Bomer and Joe Manganiello. I’m totally okay with this.
