hey hey! gosh i hate mondays seriously – and i feel a little depressed today – not sure why – i guess i am always so very busy that after a while its starts to take its toll – but no worries – i do have some fun things coming up (like the big los angeles premiere of the latest harry potter flick next week – not sure how i got that invite but i did!) so i am not down & out for long…also i get ‘perfomance anxiety’ here on popbytes – i want to make sure i bring you all something good & entertaining everyday – i know there is a lot out there – but i figure if i at least touch base with you guys then i do feel better – plus writing popbytes is also a really great form of therapy – just letting it all flow on here – i think i already feel better just writing this post! rock on!
so i decided every monday – i will post a favorite .mp3 file of my choice – new or old not sure? but i will make it a good one! that will help to make mondays a drop brighter – plus i will name the post same as the track – so for my first MONDAY .MP3 i have decided to share the tori amos cover of boomtown rats i don’t like mondays (how appropriate for today) – taken from her album of covers of male songs strange little girls (pictured below – she dressed up as a different girl for each song – quite brilliant if i do say so myself!) i am so glad i thought of this track – as it sparked my new idea for chasing these monday blues away – plus it is so fitting that my dear tori amos track gave me the idea – she is my ultimate as we all know! anyways – popbytes out for now – and hopefully i can whip up something tomorrow for you all! xxoo
