When you think of Hugh Grant, what do you think of? Other than that one time he was caught with a prostitute named Divine Brown back in 1995. Yes, you think of him as the affably befuddled Brit from every romantic comedy ever. Except you’d be wrong, because according to Jon Stewart, he was an absolute nightmare backstage when he appeared on The Daily Show, to the point where they actually had to ban him for life. “He’s giving everyone s— the whole time, and he’s a big pain in the a–,” Stewart said, who added Grant was his least-favorite guest. “And we’ve had dictators on the show.” Grant stopped by to promote Did You Hear About the Morgans? but was apparently upset with the film clip provided by the movie’s publicist, reported TODAY. “What is that clip? It’s a terrible clip,” Grant allegedly said. “Well, then make a better f—— movie,” Stewart replied.
It just confuses me as to how anyone could possibly be an a-hole to Jon or Stephen Colbert. Those guys are just the most charming, funny people ever. Actually, if there’s one thing you never want to do, it’s to piss off people who mock the stupid and self-entitled for a living. That’s just a guarantee that they’re setting their sights on you.
